Hey everyone! First I just wanted to talk about our visit to the Ronald McDonald House on Sunday. Amber, Kyle, and I made tacos! Not only was it a great experience but we also got some fellowship time in during our drive to Springfield. If you haven't already volunteered your time to help out the Ronald McDonald House, I would highly recommend going! We try to have at least one time per month!!!

I just wanted to say that we had our first meeting to start off Fall 2009. It was great meeting all of you :) I understand that some of you could not attend so here are some of our upcoming events:

~ We will be having a workday for the Teen Room this Saturday, September 12th from 9-12am.
~This is what I was mentioning earlier- we will be having another workday for the Ronald McDonald House on Friday, September 18th from 3-6pm.
~We will be stuffing envelopes for the United Way after our meeting on Tuesday, September 22nd from about 8:30-9:30.
~We will be working for the Prairieland Heritage Museum once again this year- Fri.-Sun. September 25th-27th (there will be a sign-up sheet at the next meeting)
~We will start working with the After-School Program again this year starting in October
~Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF/ Trick-or-Eat- Tuesday, October 27th. I would also highly recommend signing up to work this because it is a very rewarding experience!
