Easter Party at the C-Center and Ronald McDonald House

Hey! So the Easter Party was SOO much fun. We played Easter BINGO with more residences than usual! Then the Easter Bunny showed up to hand out eggs and meet with all of the other residences. I know that after JJ was done with the service project, there was more "hop" in his step :o).

That night, we went to the Ronald McDonald House and made Au Gratin potatoes and Cheddar Hamburger Helper (IT WAS SOO GOOD!) We had a family stop by and say hi to us. It is good to see a direct impact of service to the community. The fridge was literally empty because they had not had anyone there cooking for a while. IC CKI really made a difference that day!

NOTE: Three service projects and over 70 hours of service were done this weekend!

The internet is slow... so I will get the photos out when I am in quicker internet speed this week!

A great Teen Room service project!

Hello!

Well today was our co-service project with APO! We had chapter members from Illinois College and Illinois State University show up and we got a LOT accomplished. One chalkboard is demolished, the walls are completely white, one door has one coat of paint, one coat of paint has been applied for the logo, and plenty more ideas are flowing for what the final look of the room will be like!

We had 4 ISU APO members, ~6 IC APO members, and 7 IC CKI members. These were not the numbers we were told when we were planning projects, but we still got a lot accomplished. Photos will be added at a later time!
